CANOGA PARK, Calif. — Miles Long told XBIZ Friday he was nearly finished with principal photography on 3rd Degree Films’ “Girlfriends 3,” which the veteran director calls the best girl/girl movie of his career.
Long’s cast includes a formidable mix of well-established and rising stars who perform in vignette-style scenes in the new title.
For starters the pairings include Lexi Belle and Allie Haze in what Long said was “a genuinely passionate” encounter.
“Then I have Madelyn Marie in her first scene back [as a freelance performer] with Alexis Texas, Chanel Preston and Brooklyn Lee,” Long continued, adding that their scene unfolds inside a bar with a setup inspired by the film “Coyote Ugly.”
Marie was formerly an exclusive with Bluebird Films, while Preston was recently crowned XBIZ New Starlet of the Year.
In another big-time match-up, Gracie Glam gets down with Breanne Benson in a garage-themed vignette that Long shot in Torrance, Calif.
“We dressed up Gracie like a mechanic and took her to a race shop where we had this super tricked-out, [Mercedes Benz] CL 63 AMG that is race prepped,” Long explained. Benson plays the customer who gets more than the scheduled maintenance during her visit.
“I was swinging for the fences on this movie,” said Long, the 2011 nominee for XBIZ Director of the Year for his Body of Work last year.
Meanwhile, in a casting coup, the director this Saturday will shoot a rare scene with Heartbreaker Films owner and former Vivid Girl, Nina Mercedez, who will work with sultry British star Tanya Tate for the first time.
“I’ve known her husband [Ray] for a while, but I’ve never been lucky enough to shoot Nina before. … I told her I was looking for a killer scene and ‘I’d love to have you it in.’ She can’t wait to do it,” the director said.
Long said the movie is also a showcase for the Evolved Novelties toy line.
“All the girls liked the toys so much they asked me to keep them after the scene so I happily give it to them,” he said. “The orgasms are genuine in this. They’re not fake porno orgasms you often see in girl/girl scenes. It’s always something special to behold when you see that. You feel the love in the room and you just can’t put a price on that moment.”
