KEYES, Calif. – A group of firefighters just outside of Modesto are up in arms over a co-worker's decision to supplement her income as a porn star.

According to reports, seventeen firefights walked off the job in protest over their colleague's job choice. The Keyes firehouse, which is a volunteer-run operation, is now left with only eight firefighters and will be dependent on nearby fire stations until it can rehire more staff. The town of Keyes has only 4,500 residents.

Alexa Jones, who uses the name Chantel Lace for her porn career and on her website, reportedly outraged her co-workers by bringing her life as a porn actress into the workplace.

In addition to a prevalent naughty schoolgirl theme on Alexa's website, she also sells photo CDs, underwear, and pantyhose.

Alexa claims to have appeared in 15 porn videos by some of the top porn producers, including Vivid, and she has made appearances on HBO, E! Entertainment, and the Spice channel.

According to one of the firefighters who walked off the job, porn and civil service should not be housed under the same roof.

Jones is married to the Keyes assistant fire chief. There are allegations that she and her husband discussed her porn career while on the job at the firehouse. Alexa's father-in-law is the chief at the firehouse.

In a report from the Associated Press (AP), the station's captain, Herb Collier, and one of the firemen who quit in protest, claims that not only did the Jones' talk about Alexa's porn career on the job, but that her husband fired one of the firehouse workers who visited the porn site without paying.

Alexa Jones could not be reached for comment at the time of this printing.
