Playpen.com Launches Adult Social Entertainment Site

SAN FRANCISCO — Playpen, an adult social entertainment site that empowers models to engage their fans has officially launched its platform.

By merging the social engagement of Facebook with the connectivity of Twitter and wrapping it around a dynamic adult marketplace similar to eBay, Playpen eliminates middlemen, giving fans direct access to their favorite models and providing models more control over their content, fan connections and income, the company said.

“As a former model and entertainer myself, I know that models and fans both want a deeper level of connection,” Playpen founder and CEO James Johnston said. “Fans want more access to the girls and guys they fantasize about. Models want more power over the level of access they grant fans and more long-term control over the earning potential that their fan connections can give them. Because Playpen does all of this, and more, the company is set to revolutionize online adult social interaction.”

Playpen will enable fans to interact with the model of their choice and allow models to upload videos and images, set their own price points and create custom product offerings. Models can also embed product offerings within email and IM sessions.

The site’s internal CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool allows models to manage and maintain their fan connections at all times.

Adult star Brittany Andrews said she looks forward to Playpen’s launch.

“I can’t wait to start interacting with my fans more intimately,” Andrews said. “It’s super easy to use so I can spend more time with my fans and focus on giving them what they really want. And Playpen really cares about their models and fans so it’s a completely different experience. There’s a little bit of everything from the adult entertainment world in Playpen and they are giving everyone an all-access pass.”
