Pleasure Product Bellwethers to Discuss Selling Techniques at XBIZ Retail

LOS ANGELES — Day one of the inaugural XBIZ Retail Expo will feature a panel of the pleasure product industry’s biggest players discussing trends and sales techniques driving the market’s success.

Moderated by Eldorado CEO and founder Larry Garland, the “Selling Pleasure Products: Hot Market Trends for 2011” seminar will feature Pipedream Products CEO Nick Orlandino, CalExotics founder and President Susan Colvin, The Screaming O partner Keith Caggiano, Sportsheets founder and President Tom Stewart and Dreamgirl International CEO Christopher Scharff.

“I am very excited and truly looking forward to moderating what will surely be an excellent panel discussion full of insights into selling and marketing pleasure products,” Garland said. “We will hear from the distinguished panelists their thoughts on future trends, products and changes in promoting and selling in the years to come. This is going to be an exciting panel and I really look forward to participating.”

Among the various topics that the seminar will touch upon is the rising prevalence of “couples friendly” adult stores and the mainstreaming of “sensual” products.

From Feb. 9-11, the XBIZ Retail Expo is set to draw buyers representing more than 700 retail operations with three days of world class seminars, product debuts and showcases and unlimited business-networking opportunities inside the event’s intimate venue, the luxurious Sofitel Hotel.

An expanded exhibiting hall will include suites on the hotel’s 10th floor featuring the industry’s leading manufacturers, which will showcase their latest and greatest product releases.
