Next Door, Hot House Strike Web Distribution Deal

SAN FRANCISCO — Hot House Entertainment and Next Door Entertainment announced today the launch of a strategic partnership.

The deal pairs Hot House productions with the online marketing expertise and reach of Next Door Entertainment and its affiliate platform, Next Door Buddy Profits.

The partnership, both companies say, "establishes a new digital marketing strategy for Hot House, allowing them to continue producing original content while Next Door provides the membership site technology, online marketing and affiliate program management."

Hot House maintains two membership sites, the Hot House Backroom and the Club Inferno Dungeon; both sites will be redesigned and relaunched in the spring and become part of the Buddy Profits affiliate program.

“Today is a great day for gay adult consumers, affiliates and Hot House staff," said Steven Scarborough, president and founder of Hot House. "Fans will be thrilled with a fantastic new state-of-the-art membership site with many new features like mobile device compatability; affiliates will be thrilled with the award-winning tools and service of the Buddy Profits program; and our staff will be relieved to be out of the technology and billing business.

"This will allow us to really focus on what we do best — making kick-ass porn that sells. We just couldn’t be more excited about the future.”

Stephan Sirard, president of Next Door, said the partnership makes great sense for both companies.

"We chose to partner with Hot House because of their outstanding award-winning content, strong brand name, and commitment to growing their online business," he said. "Combining their reputation for production of high-quality content and Next Door’s technology and gay marketing expertise, you have a winning combination."

The companies said that in May Hot House Cash affiliates will be migrated to be part of the Buddy Profits affiliate program.

"In the short term, commencing this week, Buddy Profits will take the first step of that transition and will start managing monthly affiliate payments on behalf of Hot House Cash," the companies said. "This will mean that existing Hot House Cash affiliates will continue to promote the Hot House Backroom and Club Inferno Dungeon through Hot House Cash but will receive their monthly payouts directly from Buddy Profits.

"Once the new Hot House sites are launched in 2011, affiliates will switch to promoting the Backroom and Dungeon through the Buddy Profits program."
