Neostrata Releases Link Shortening Service

GIBRALTAR — Neostrata, owner of affiliate programs HunkMoney.com, BritishBucks.com and LatinoBucks.com, announced that it has released a new link shortening service Gay.gl.

"Gay.gl is the new GayWideWebmasters link shortening service," said Luke Hubert, owner of Neostrata Ltd.

"We are offering this as a free service to take long URLs and squeeze them into fewer characters to make your links easier to share, tweet, or email to friends. It’s a fun and frisky alternative to other link shortening services, like goo.gl and bit.ly."

The company said link shortening services have become popular since the boom of Facebook and other micro-blogging services that limit the number of characters per post.

Gay.gl short URLs are public and can be shared by anyone. Once created, the linked URL cannot be changed. Additionally, these links do not expire.

Neostrata said it reserves the right to remove any gay.gl short URLs that are deemed illegal, inappropriate or insecure.

"Releasing gay.gl is a win-win," Hubert said.

"Webmasters get to use this fun URL link shortening service for free and our advertisers get additional exposure. So if you are tweeting, blogging, facebooking or just too lazy to repeatedly type out long URLs, why not use our new service, it only takes seconds and its free."
