C1R Launches Episodic Web Series

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Channel 1 Releasing has launched the premiere episode in the first season of its new web series, “Raising the Bar.”

The company describes the series as “Sex and the City” meets “Queer as Folk” as five friends get caught up in a twisted sex competition.

The series stars C1R exclusive Jimmy Durano, Steven Daigle, Adam Killian, Mitchell Rock and Conner Habib who compete to decide who can outdo each other in the sex department.

Directed by Chi Chi LaRue, the series also stars Brent Everett, Landon Mycles, Jock Hudson, Jason Longh and newcomer Billy Byron.

C1R said each episode features a brand new sex scene edited to include real amateur footage from the performers who shot themselves from their own digital cameras, phones and webcams.

“We’re always looking for ways to combine what’s hot at the moment, with what we’re really good at doing,” LaRue said.

"It started with ‘Steven Daigle: XXXPosed,’ combining the idea of amateur homemade sex tapes you’d see on these tube sites with our own high-end production values.

“Now, we’re not only continuing that theme, but stepping it up a notch. When we decided to start updating C1R.com. with new exclusive sex scenes every week like a lot of other sites do, we thought, ‘Why not string them together with a hot, dirty story?’ It’s something that hasn’t really been done before."
