Amy Fisher Talks 'Deep Inside'

NEW YORK — Amy Fisher admits that doing porn scenes is “a little bit surreal.”

The New York native who has lived most of her adult life in the public eye recently made her professional adult movie debut in “Deep Inside Amy Fisher,” which is available now through Dreamzone Entertainment.

“These are beautiful men, just meeting them is exciting anyway,” Fisher told XBIZ. “I wanted to do a really good job filming. I didn’t want to be difficult. I wanted everything to go really smoothly. I have a lot of vested in this.”

Fisher, whose amateur porn video “Amy Fisher Caught On Tape” sold upward of 200,000 copies worldwide after its release in 2007, exclusively partnered with the recently launched Dreamzone to shoot eight films over the next two years.

The notorious Fisher hand-picked the all-star cast for “Deep Inside,” working with the likes of Tommy Gunn, Marcus London, Dale DaBone and Lisa Ann in her first professionally produced XXX effort. Fisher took on Evan Stone, among others, in her second movie, shooting enough content for her first three films during her summer trip to Los Angeles.

“I filmed with a lot of different people when I was out there,” she said. “They’re very sexual movies, exploring more of Southern California and my sexuality. I’d like to get into more of the parodies but right now these movies are strictly hardcore sex. They won’t disappoint.”

The demand for Fisher to do porn has been steady on the heels of the huge sales figures her sex tape generated. Her naughty softcore pay-per-view special — “Amy Fisher: Totally Nude & Exposed” — also added to the buzz last year.

“Every major adult entertainment company in the world at one point has wanted me to do something with them in the last two years because that amateur DVD sold phenomenally well,” Fisher said. But the mother of three waited for the right situation before making the move because she wanted to do porn on her own terms.

“Dreamzone Entertainment has been good to me. They let me pick who I want to work with and I get 50 percent of the profits,” Fisher noted.

An extended trailer teasing her first Dreamzone movies is currently running on her official site AmyFisher.com.

Dreamzone spared no expense on the productions, hiring what essentially was the entire Club Jenna crew to shoot Fisher’s exploits. Adult veteran Jim Enright produced and directed.

“All the guys came in with Club Jenna t-shirts. These were all the Club Jenna guys,” Fisher said. “Jenna doesn’t do movies any more but they still need to be employed.”

Once dubbed by the New York media in the early ’90s as the “Long Island Lolita,” — a nickname she doesn’t like to this day — Fisher served seven years in prison after shooting the wife of her then lover Joey Buttafuoco when she was 17. Not long after her release from incarceration, Fisher became a columnist for the Long Island Press, writing something for print every week without even having formally trained in journalism.

“I had a BBA in Marketing, go figure,” she joked. “I wrote human interest columns on controversial issues — you pick a side. I interviewed famous people, which was kind of cool. I did a little of everything. I did that for almost five years. But that was hard for me. It was actually a blessing when it ended, I was happy.”

Fisher last year embarked on what quickly became a popular feature dancing tour that is ongoing. “I love it,” she said, adding that her next booking “is wherever my little dancing shoes will take me.”

So far her legion of fans has been giving her plenty of feedback on her decision to pursue porn.

“They’re thanking me for doing it,” Fisher said. “I’ve gotten only positives. So far it’s gone really well.”

Fisher, who still receives a royalty check every month for her amateur sex tape, calls her adult entertainment career “the greatest job in the world.”

Also a published author — she wrote a book called If I Knew Then… in 2004 — she says she likes living in the moment.

“Life moves on for everybody. I kind of just live for the here and now,” Fisher said. “It doesn’t turn out how you expect. If someone would’ve said I’d be a porn star five years ago I wouldn’t have believed them.”

She added, “I feel really honored to be doing this. There are a lot of really pretty girls that pound the pavement for years and get no recognition. And because I get a ton of mainstream press I was able to come in at a higher level. So I feel very fortunate and I don’t take it for granted.”
