Webmaster Access Europe Wraps Up

AMSTERDAM — Webmaster Access Europe has drawn to a close, but not before the global online adult business world had a chance to form bonds and connections thanks to effective networking and educational seminars held at the three-day event.

Webmasters from around the globe were welcomed Friday with an eMerchantPay-sponsored cocktail reception followed by a AWM Russian webmaster dinner.

Saturday kicked off early with speed networking and valuable seminars including Meet the Top Dogs, which was moderated by Sean from CCBill and featured XBIZ Publisher and President Alec Helmy, Hustler’s Michael Klein, FreeOne’s Roald Riepen, and MojoHost’s Brad Mitchell.

The seminar focused on technological innovations in the adult industry and challenges in today’s ever-changing market.

“Adult will continue to trail mainstream since mainstream companies are well-funded in terms of resources, research and development,” Helmy said.

Riepen talked about the impact of tube sites and how they are a challenge since the company doesn’t operate such sites.

Baddog from the audience wanted to know how the industry is fighting piracy. Helmy responded by mentioning how sophisticated the FSC’s APAP program is.

Klein said that his company is going after surfers directly and that they have figured out a way to effectively combat pirate sites in just about any country.

Others seminars included the Science of Social Marketing, which focused on ways to increase sales using Twitter, Facebook and YouTube and Mobile: Building And Promoting Successful Mobile Products, which talked about understanding and promoting the world of mobile products.

At the end of the day, webmasters were treated to an evening of fine dining, cocktails and networking at the 4th annual Elite Dinner, sponsored by SexEntertain, HustlerCash, GammaCash and Epoch.

The final day wrapped up with more semiars on two of the most important topics impacting adult enterprises today — monetizing traffic, billing and new trends in digital technologies.
