Corbin Fisher Sues Tube Site TnAFlix.com

SAN DIEGO — Calling it a "massive copyright infringer," Corbin Fisher has filed suit against Cyprus-based TnAFlix.com, which operates a tube site with both gay and straight content.

Corbin Fisher also targeted in the suit 500 TnAFlix.com members who may have uploaded copyrighted material. Those defendants are named as John Does in the suit.

Corbin Fisher says that at least 104 of its gay videos have been illegally posted and distributed on the site and that its operators "actively encourage users to upload pirated copyrighted files" and do nothing to screen out material.

"The quantity of copyrighted files available to Internet users increased the attactiveness of TnAFlix.com's services to its customers, increased its membership base and increased its ad sales revenue," said the suit, which was filed at U.S. District Court in San Diego.

Corbin Fisher is asking the court to award an injunction against TnAFlix.com's parent company, Youngtek Solutions Ltd., and infringing users, as well as damages of $150,000 for each infringed work and attorneys fees.

Corbin Fisher General Counsel Marc Randazza scolded the Nicosia, Cyprus-based company on the way it conducts business.

"Not only does this site, like most tube sites, survive on pirated content, but it also had the audacity to place ads on my client's films," Randazza told XBIZ. "The industry seems to be well-focused on taking down websites like this one, and Corbin Fisher is committed to taking a leadership position in the fight against content theft."

An email to TnAFlix.com owner Frank went unreturned at post time.
