ASACP to Attend Qwebec-Expo

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) will be sending technology and forensic research VP, Tim Henning, to be a part of the 2010 Qwebec-Expo.

Qwebec-Expo takes place Aug. 26 - 29 at the Marriott Chateau Champlain in Montreal. The event features a tradeshow, technical conferences and an opportunity for people to meet face-to-face with industry suppliers from the U.S., Canada, Europe and other countries in order to discuss the latest industry technologies, trends, products and services.

ASACP will have a table at the expo and Henning will be participating in the “New Bees” workshop on Friday Aug. 27 from 11a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

The workshop will focus on the things people need to know about the industry. It will be moderated by Joel Drapeau, Gamma Entertainment with Michael P leading the discussion.

“Qwebec-Expo is a fantastic international show set against the backdrop of a beautiful multicultural city," Henning said.

"It provides ASACP with an opportunity to speak to many companies and webmasters from diverse locations about the benefits of ASACP membership, RTA - the Restricted to Adults label, and how they can be an important part of protecting children from viewing age-restricted material. This show is important since ASACP is continuing its international expansion and has translated www.asacp.org into Spanish, German and French.”
