Black Market Garners Several Urban X Nominations

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — The nominations for the 2010 Urban X Awards have been announced and for a third year in a row, Black Market has garnered multiple nominations.

Black Market was nominated 16 times for 14 different categories. In the last two years, Black Market has garnered over 10 Urban X Awards.

The award show is scheduled for Tuesday, July 13 at the 740 Club in downtown Los Angeles and voting at www.urbanxawards.com ends today.

“We are honored to be up for so many awards,” said James Melendy, Black Market owner. “We’re a sponsor again this year and have always supported the Urban X Awards from the very beginning—we believe in Gianna Taylor and everything she has done to acknowledge ethnic performers, directors and companies. She has definitely made a mark in adult and stood up for black, Latin, Asian and interracial productions, when no one else did.”
