Hustler Mega-Club Set to Open in Vegas

LAS VEGAS — Described as the most expensive gentleman’s club ever built, the Vegas Hustler Club is set to open in July.

The ambitious $30 million mega-club venture is a partnership between Hustler founder Larry Flynt and Deja Vu Showgirls' Jason "Cash" Mohney.

The new "erotic events center" is one of 25 Hustler Clubs across the country and is slated to open its doors just in time for the Gentlemen’s Club Convention slated for August.

Club owner Mohney said, “This gentleman’s club is more than another strip club. It is to be an ultra erotic event center designed to serve corporations that want to add a little spice to their events, and want to avoid the high cost of other venues.”

In development since since 2008, the approximately 70,000 square-foot, four-story project houses the club and a 25,000 square-foot Hustler Hollywood retail store.

The center also includes five bars, a DJ booth on the second level, banquet seating for patrons, 20 Honey Suites — some of which have direct views of the aerial catwalks or the main stage — and six exclusive VIP Grand Honey Suites (two reserved for Flynt, Mohney and their guests).

Plans also call for the roof patio to include a wedding chapel, hot tubs, cabanas, separate bar, nightlife events and more — all with views of the city.

LFP founder Larry Flynt told XBIZ, “Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world and we’re excited to bring the Hustler brand into the marketplace.”

The site of the complex has been visible for some time from Interstate 15 — the main highway into Vegas. "Just look for the 50-foot flame erupting from a torch in the parking lot at 5969 Dean Martin Drive. That’s a flame almost five stories tall to guide you to what is destined to be the hottest spot in town," Marketing and Promotions Director Larry Beard said.

The Club has already begun advertising itself with a million dollar marquee.

One of the most talked-about features of the club are the lip-shaped urinals imported from France.

Beard said Hustler will have room for 600 dancers, plus nail and hair stations for rent.

A job fair is due in the next few weeks — a sign that the club owners are bullish on the rebound of Vegas’ struggling economy.

“While it’s true that the Las Vegas economy has taken a hit these past few years, we’re seeing signs of a return to the norm,” Flynt said.

According to local reports, the existing Hustler club (that’s minuscule in comparison to the new project) may be renovated into a private party room or a restaurant.

Mohney said, “Like Mr. Wynn has done in the casino industry, we have done in our industry. We have designed the next generation of gentleman's club; the erotic ultra club.”
