STOCKHOLM, Sweden — Tiger Woods' porn star hook-ups may already be old news in the U.S., but in his wife’s home country of Sweden the locals are hot to see the golf superstar’s XXX playmates.
European distributor Max's Movies, a leading Swedish distributor of American titles recently bought the master DVD rights to Smash Pictures' “Cheating Housewives 6” that featured Woods' mistress Holly Sampson once it realized the golfer's connection.
The studio then produced the European PAL version, aptly titled “Tiger’s in the Hole” and released it throughout Scandinavia with a flurry of excitement that quickly vaulted the title to the company's top 10 seller list.
"I'm amazed how much mileage we got out of this title. ‘Cheating Housewives’ on its own is our most successful MILF series. With the Tiger Woods play we moved an extra 2,000 copies in the U.S. by just adding a gold stamp sticker mentioning ‘Tiger,’” said Smash Pictures Vice President, Stuart Wall.
The movie also stars Julia Ann, Francesca Le, Stephanie Swift and Vannah Sterling.
