The Screaming O Receives 2nd Consecutive XBIZ Award

LOS ANGELES — Pleasure product powerhouse The Screaming O took home the coveted Marketing Campaign of the Year Award at last night’s 2010 XBIZ Awards show.

Last year the company received the Sex Toy Manufacturer of the Year title.

This award recognizes companies that use innovative, creative and effective promotional programs to spread their messages within the industry and beyond, through national events, advertising campaigns and other tactics unique to the company.

“All of us at The Screaming O would like to thank XBIZ for the honor of this award,” The Screaming O partner Keith Caggiano said. “It means so much to be recognized by a top industry media organization because it has its finger at the pulse of the adult business and knows first-hand which companies are at the forefront of its evolution. We’re honored to be one of those companies.”

This past year was filled with celebrity-endorsed publicity stunts, charitable fundraising and awareness, national reality TV product placement, and mainstream awards and accolades for best business practices and product quality.

“XBIZ would like to congratulate The Screaming O on its Marketing Campaign of the Year win,” XBIZ Associate Publisher Kristen Kaye said. “The Screaming O’s comprehensive approach to marketing its vast product lineup made it a shoo-in for the nomination, and following this win, it’s clear the industry agrees. We wish the team the best in 2010 – XBIZ can’t wait to see what The Screaming O will come up with next!”

The company has won StorErotica Magazine's 2007 Innovator of the Year award, and its flagship product, the Screaming O Vibrating Ring, was named Best Product of 2008 by Women's Health Magazine. Additionally, the BigO vibrating erection band was named “Top Pick” by renowned sex educator Dr. Sue Johanson, host of the Oxygen network's popular “Talk Sex With Sue.”
