CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Pulse Distribution announced a distribution agreement for DVD, broadcast and the internet with Japanese studio Kamikaze Entertainment.
Kamikaze movies specialize in Asian girl content and anime/manga fantasy-type girls with big eyes. The studio has three brands including “Kamikaze Girls,” “Kamikaze Premium” and “Kamikaze Street.”
Beginning in February, Pulse will be making over 100 catalog titles available from the three brands and will also be releasing two new release titles per month from both Kamikaze Girls and Kamikaze Premium.
The titles feature Asian talent including Aya Hirai, Marina Hoshizaki, Romihi Nakamura and Aki Kurosawa, and all-girl orgy parties with stars including Ai Kimura, Yuka, Karen Ito and Seiko, according to Pulse.
“I can’t tell you how excited I am that we are distributing this line,” said Hyland Church, vice president of sales for Pulse Distribution. “Kamikaze is hugely popular in Japan and all over the world. This is the first time that all three of their lines have been widely distributed across multiple formats in the United States. What will appeal most is that the models are well-matched with strong, well-endowed male performers, something that has been lacking from some of the other Japanese studios.”
