Amy Fisher to Strip for Haiti Relief

NEW YORK — Amy Fisher, who re-entered the public arena in 2007 with a newfound career in adult entertainment, plans on donating tips from her topless dancing shows in Commack, N.Y., to a Haitian relief charity.

Fisher will begin performing next Thursday through Saturday at Commack, N.Y.’s Scene Restaurant & Lounge.

”She’s not a pole-climber,” husband Lou Bellera told Newsday. “She wears a showgirl costume – she’s like a politician, greeting the crowds.”

Fisher’s fame re-emerged three years ago when Red Light District released a sex tape of Fisher and Bellera titled “Amy Fisher Caught on Tape.” She originally entered the public limelight as the “Long Island Lolita,” shooting lover Joey Buttafuoco's then-wife in the face.

Major publicity followed, including appearances on The Howard Stern Show, “Maury,” “Star Jones” and Playboy Radio.

Fisher later built a girl/girl website, AmyFisher.com, and offered an affiliate program, AmyFisherCash.com. Then in January, she released the pay-per-view film “Amy Fisher: Totally Nude & Exposed.”

Earlier this year, she signed a deal with Lee Entertainment in New York to strip at least once a month. Fisher has said she loves to strip because she loves to dance and is an exhibitionist.

At Saturday's show, she'll not only donate her tips to a Haitian charity, but she'll match those tips. The cabaret also will match her tips as will a Long Island radio show host.
