“Our Thursday through Sunday overall sales were up 47 percent over last year,” the company said. “Hard product sales (Blu-ray, DVD, lube, toys) was up 59 percent over last year, and digital sales (subscriptions, PPM, downloads) were up almost 8 percent over last year.”

Titan offered a “three for $99” sale on Blu-ray and “4 for $99” DVDs. According to the company, the average transaction totaled more than $150 per customer.

During its “Cyber Monday,” Titan’s sales were up 63 percent from last year, with hard product up 79 percent from last year.

“We want retailers to know there is light at the end of the tunnel and things are starting to swing back around,” the company said in a press release. “I don’t want to look like we are bragging, just want retailers to know the gay consumer is spending money again. The gay consumer usually leads the economic recovery in terms of spending, and Blu-ray is leading the charge.”
