Vivid, Tera Patrick Sign Seven-Year Contract

LOS ANGELES — Vivid Entertainment Group and adult megastar Tera Patrick signed a seven-year contract Monday guaranteeing Vivid exclusive distribution rights in North America to all movies produced by Patrick and TeraVision, her production and marketing company.

The agreement includes all films starring Patrick and any actresses signed by TeraVision to exclusive contracts. It is expected that a minimum of four movies per year will be released under the agreement. TeraVision will release "Desperate," its first movie under the new contract, on Jan. 8, 2006.

“I am absolutely ecstatic to have Vivid as a sister to TeraVision,” Patrick said. “As a woman executive in this business, it’s a glamorous honor to be a ‘Vivid Girl for Life.’

The contract is a renewal of Patrick’s previous two-year agreement with Vivid, during which time the two companies produced three no. 1 movies.

“Vivid has always set the standard for high-quality award-winning movies and top-selling contract girls. Now, as long term members of the Vivid family, we are looking forward to seeing TeraVision and our own contract stars reach a new level in erotic entertainment,” Patrick said.

TeraVision currently has exclusive contracts with adult stars Nikki Benz and Lucy Lee and plans on signing additional actresses in the coming year.

“Tera has met and surpassed every expectation we had for her,” Vivid Co-Founder/Co-Chairman Steven Hirsch said. “Her films ‘Tera, Tera, Tera,’ ‘Reign of Tera’ and ‘Collision Course’ are all top sellers.”

Patrick owns TeraVision with her husband and business partner, Evan Seinfeld, the rock star front man for the group Biohazard, which has sold more than three million albums. Seinfeld is also known for his role as a prisoner in 40 episodes of the HBO hit series “Oz.”

“We are also very impressed with what she and her husband, Evan Seinfeld, have accomplished as entrepreneurs in such a short time and we’re excited to be their distribution partners as they grow,” Hirsch said.

Patrick is one of the few models to appear on the covers of “Playboy” and “Penthouse” simultaneously and she appears frequently in both “FHM” and “Stuff” magazines. Patrick also writes a monthly sex advice column for “FHM” in the UK. In September, she appeared as the subject of the magazine’s “day-in-the-life” feature in the US.

Patrick has recently appeared several times on VH-1, including the channel’s special “The Hottest Girlfriends and Wives of Rock Stars,” for which she also served as a commentator. Additionally, she is the official “Sexpert” columnist on the popular AdultFriendFinder.com website.
