COLT Partners With Buddy Profits, Launches Site

SONOMA, Calif. — COLT Studio Group today announced the launch of COLTStudioGroup.com, the product of the company’s partnership with Buddy Profits.

COLTStudioGroup.com features a new look and features such as hi-def videos, two-minute trailers for hundreds of scenes and an enhanced search engine that searches by niche, category and brand.

The site also features a Favorites list that enables users to personalize their selection of videos and hundreds of hi-def photo galleries from the COLT vaults.

“Our vision for the future is to ensure we maximize every digital opportunity possible, including our websites, mobile sites, video content, community groups and affiliate programs while leveraging our strong and trusted brand,” said John Rutherford, president and creative director of COLT Studio Group. “All this with an industry partner who has a rock-solid reputation of high profits for their affiliate partners and top-notch partner support — something that I’ve strived for in my nearly 20 years in this business.”

COLT’s new membership site is a key element in a digital strategy developed between the two companies that includes Internet applications, affiliate program and high-definition exclusive video content, the company said.

“COLT is a brand known by gay men around the world,” said Stephan Sirard, president and CEO of Next Door Entertainment and Buddy Profits. “As a gay adult company, we could find no better partner. If you combine COLT’s expertise and leadership in the production of high-quality all-male content and Next Door Buddy Profit’s technology and gay marketing expertise, you have a formula for success.”

Buddy Profits also is developing new interactive and Internet applications for COLTStudioGroup.com, including plans to expand the site for compatibility across multiple platforms.

With COLT Studio Group’s online presence now merged with the Buddy Profits affiliate program, former COLT Cash accounts will be automatically transferred to the Buddy Profits platform.

“Given the quickly changing landscape of the adult market, the kind of like-minded co-operation you see here between Buddy Profits and the COLT Studio Group represent the future of the adult business,” Sirard said.
