AMG Launches New DVD Line

SAN FRANCISCO — Athletic Model Guild has launched “The Complete Collection” line of DVDs under the AMG Classics brand.

Each DVD from the line focuses on an iconic figure from the studio’s past, presenting the model’s film and photo portfolios in their entirety.

The company’s first two releases in the series include “The Complete Monte Hanson” and “The Complete Jim Paris.” The releases are currently available at AMG’s online store and will hit shelves next month priced at $49.95.

“We wanted to create a comprehensive collection of those models who were the bread and butter of this business so many years ago,” AMG President Dennis Bell said. “It’s a nostalgic collection, so we gave it a look that harkens back to Bob Mizer’s AMG. They are a gorgeous product and we’re extremely proud of them. They reflect a dedication to quality that Bob initiated over half a century ago.”

“The Complete Monte Hanson” streets Nov. 4. Performer Monte Hanson appeared in AMG movies beginning when he was a teenager in 1963 and continued until 13 years later, appearing as a tough, tattooed daddy.

“For ‘The Complete Monte Hanson,’ we scoured the AMG archives for every film and photo of this prolific stud and put them all on one DVD,” the company said in a press release. “In it, you’ll find Monte in an early ‘Nudist Film,’ engaged in ‘Military School Initiation,’ and fighting crime as a ‘Cruel Cop.’”

“The Complete Jim Paris” streets Nov. 18.

The Jim Paris collection of scenes culled from his performances in “Young Prisoner,” “On a Donkey,” and “Homework.”
