The company is no stranger to charitable work, as it holds regular fundraising events with its employees for causes including the American Cancer Society and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
This most recent fundraiser took place as a silent auction, during which PHE employees donated goods and services and raised money to donate to the local animal charity.
“The people at Paws4Ever are working hard to make the world a better place, one life at a time,” said PHE’s Alice Johnson, who coordinated the event. “If the money we raised can help save even one abandoned animal’s life, then I can sleep a little easier at night. I am proud to have had a direct hand in helping!”
A company release said that Paws4Ever, formerly named APS of Orange County, holds regular fundraising events and accepts donations from outside parties. Its website, AnimalProtectionSociety.org, hosts a list of goods the organization currently needs.
