Channel 1 Releasing Touts Cowboys, Firemen

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Channel 1 Releasing is reintroducing to the wholesale market a pair of Catalina Video sexpics focused on firemen and cowboys as they ramp up promo efforts for big-budget fetish flick "Taken."

"Ride 'Em Cowboy" was directed by Peter Romero and originally released in 2001. Ray Harley headlines a cast of mature, muscular and hirsute performers including Jon Galt, Matt Hunter, Wade Hunter, Mike Radcliffe, Mark Reed, Shahan, Matt Sizemore and Daniel West.

"Shahan and West are ranch hands for Ray Harley," the studio said. "When they hear the news that Ray may be losing the ranch, they decide to put in some extra effort to help out."

Director Brad Austin helmed "Black Draft" for Catalina in 1993. Popular stars Randy Cochran and Rick Pantera head up a cast that includes Alexander Cort, Mack Daniels, Gene Lamar, Damien Michaels and Michael Snyder with Roz Wayans in a nonsex role.

Both films are set for an Aug. 25 wholesale release date.

In related news, C1R continues to tout its big-budget fetish flick "Taken: To the Lowest Level." Directed by studio partner Chi Chi LaRue, the bulging cast is toplined by Phillip Aubrey, Adam Killian and Mitchell Rock.

Studio exclusives Jeremy Bilding, Johnny Hazzard and Blake Riley figure in key featured roles. The extensive kink menu includes autoerotic asphyxiation, dildos, flogging, hot wax, piss, cum-eating, enemas and domination.

The company has established a promotional microsite to flack that film that includes trailers, interviews, cast bios, wallpapers and other features.

For wholesale-retail inquiries, visit C1R online or contact sales agents Andrew Quaintance (ext. 9526) or Anthony Nunez (ext. 9559) at (800) 997-9071.
