Director Wolfgang Bang founded Red Eagle early this decade to explore hardcore fetish and other extreme sex practices. However, the first movie to be released under his new distro pact with PacSun will be the more mainstream sexpic "Awesome Fuckers."
"I'm really into a very wide variety of stuff sexually," Bang said. "I wanted to make some more mainstream adult films so that I could reach a wider audience and also get some creative space for myself to do what I feel passionate about."
"Awesome Fuckers" was shot on location in Buenos Aires. The Argentinean cast proved to be memorable. "They were some of the hottest men I've ever seen," the director said. "It opened the door for me to continue exploring new genres."
"I have a lot in the works now and I would say this film was the catalyst for that."
Performer Gavin Mauro headlines "Awesome Fuckers” with featured players Abdul Hussein, Diego Lauriel, Mariano Nacho, Ronaldo Macchu, Juan Peroni, Franky Robinho, Mathias Schaefer and Antony Skelari.
Bang's fetish-oriented "Fisting Ranch Hands" recently earned a 2009 Grabby Award as Best Fetish Film — Extreme.
"Although these extreme fetish films are becoming more available and slightly more accepted in the overall wholesale marketplace, there are still restrictions which limit the availability of these features," said Michael LaBarbera, PacSun's head of production and marketing.
