N.J. Township Prepares to Resist Exxxotica Expo
Jerry Barca, a spokesperson for the township, said that Edison will do "everything within its power to stop the event from occurring."
Last year, the expo had to make a last-minute move from the Meadowlands in Secaucus, N.J., to the New Jersey Expo Center. According to Barca, Exxxotica Expo officials said they wouldn't return. Edison Mayor Jun Choi also lent her voice to the opposition.
"There's no place for it in our community," she said. "This is a family-oriented town with lots of young people, and one of the largest school districts in the state."
Choi also said that the township wasn't able to mount a legal opposition to the expo last year. Apparently, when Secaucus resisted the expo, officials contended that the company behind Exxxotica, Victory Tradeshow Management, held a liquor license, which would preclude them from presenting adult content in any way.
Victory Tradeshow Management owner J. Handy said that everything is squared away this year, noting the success of last year’s show, which attracted more than 18,000 people. He also heaped praise on the New Jersey Expo Center, calling it a “super-gracious” host location.
Some of the performers expected to attend Exxxotica Expo include Tera Patrick, Ron Jeremy, Jenna Haze, Gina Lynn, Teagan Presley, Eva Angelina, Bree Olson, Kayden Kross, Joanna Angel, Angelina Armani, Moxxie Maddron, Lisa Sparxxx, Olivia O’Lovely, Nyomi Banxxx, Travis Knight, Victoria Zdrok, Prinzess and Sasha Hollander, as well as a contingent of Vivid Girls including Savanna Samson, Monique Alexander, Meggan Mallone and A.J. Bailey.
