Roy Karch Sits in Director’s Chair for ‘The Love Cream Chronicles’

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Veteran director Roy Karch wrapped shooting last week on his latest directorial effort, “The Love Cream Chronicles,” for a new production company named Love Video Entertainment.

Karch told XBIZ that the company is headed up by “three twentysomethings from Virginia” who wanted to start making adult entertainment. They found Karch through the Internet, read about him and checked his storied credentials before approaching him to direct their maiden effort.

“They did a lot of homework before I was approached to direct this movie,” Karch said. “They already cast the movie with LA Direct Models and Spiegler [Girls], had a production crew and the movie all outlined. All the ducks were in a row and everything was in place.”

“The Love Cream Chronicles” is a series of four erotic vignettes that stars Sasha Grey, Tori Black, Nikki Benz, Alexis Texas, Adrianna Nicole, Flower Tucci, Nick Manning, Mark Wood, Danny Wylde and Chris Johnson.

Karch explained that each of the scenes (except the Tori Black/Chris Johnson pairing) revolves around a couple bringing in a lover to spice things up — Adrianna Nicole seduces Danny Wylde when her husband balks at a threesome, but gets DP’d in the shower anyway, while girlfriends Kagney Linn Karter and Nikki Benz seduce Alexis Texas into joining them in the bedroom.

Karch is currently working on editing the movie while the company’s principles work on a distribution deal.

“These guys are new to the adult world, but savvy in business,” Karch said. “Because they are young, I feel like I’m mentoring them in some respects. I like teaching and they are eager to learn. They’re off to a great start and I look forward to working more with them.”

Karch said that he’s planning on working with the company on its second project when it shoots next month.
