Pachard Tribute DVD Shipping for July 7 Release

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — LFP Distribution is shipping "Back Strokes & Toilette Fantasies: An Ode to Henri Pachard," a tribute video that was started last year when the veteran director had a recurrence of cancer.

Pachard, who supported the initial project and visited the set, died in September.

The DVD has seven sex scenes, Pachard's widow D Pachard told XBIZ, interspersed with reminiscences from Pachard's colleagues — including writer Raven Touchstone; directors Roy Karch, Paul Thomas and Jerry T; and performers Herschel Savage, Georgina Spelvin, Debi Diamond, Bionca Seven and Mr. Marcus — shot by his son, cinematographer/director Ralph Parfait.

"They covered things like the history of the last 30 years, and Henri's involvement," D Pachard told XBIZ. "They talked about toilet scenes, which Henri was famous for, and they shared experiences that nobody knows about."

Pachard's career stretched back to the '70s Golden Age of adult productions shot on film and shown in theaters. He directed more than 300 titles, writing and directing classic films, including "Outlaw Ladies," "October Silk," "The Budding of Brie" and "Babylon Pink." He was working as recently as 2007, when he was shooting gonzo scenes on video.

Performers appearing in the DVD include Meggan Mallone, Penny Flame, Stephanie Swift, Mae Victoria, Kelly Leigh, Jada Fire, Anna Mills, Kandi Hart, Randy Spears, Nick East, Tom Byron, Trent Tesoro and Ron Jeremy. Credited directors are Pachard and Parfait, with extra scenes directed by Jeff Coldwater and Paul Thomas.

LFP Distribution has announced that all the proceeds from the DVD will go to Pachard's family.

The video is being shipped this week for a July 7 street date.
