“Although I hadn’t any idea I would end up doing this, when I was younger if I saw strip clubs in a movie I would be fascinated and say I was going to be a stripper," Jayne told the Echo. “I don’t get embarrassed."

Jayne, who grew up in Wigan, some 30 miles from Liverpool, shot her first sex scene in the Czech Republic in 2007 when she was in her early 20s. She appeared in a handful of adult videos before signing with Vivid in June 2008, right before winning the Miss XBIZ Summer 2008 competition in July.

Jayne said that she tries to keep a perspective between her on-camera performing and her real life.

"When the cameras are rolling I’m Nikki Jayne, but when filming stops I’m not some wild crazy party animal," Jayne said. “I have real goals and aspirations. I want to get into buying property and investing, developing my website and looking at going into production too eventually. "I want to get into TV documentaries, interactive computer games and I want to write a book."
