"We also depend heavily on our international sponsors to support our efforts to protect children both financially and by adopting the internationally recognized Restricted To Adults — RTA website label, which is why I look forward to meeting with many of them while at the Barcelona Summit.”

The Barcelona Summit 2009 is the first major international conference for the adult online industry in Europe. The event will take place at the ME-Barcelona hotel in Spain. The Barcelona Summit will bring together professionals from Spain, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Russia, the U.S. and other markets.

Andreas Bischoff of the Barcelona Summit welcomed Irvine's participation.

“The Barcelona Summit strongly backs and supports the goals of the ASACP and extensive information on their activities will be widely available to all participants and sponsors during this Pan European event," Bischoff said. "We look forward to a long lasting relationship with an organization that represents the same commitments we have.”

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection is a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet. ASACP also works to help parents prevent children from viewing age-inappropriate material online.
