Liberator, Pink Pony in Joint Venture

ATLANTA — Sex furniture manufacturer Liberator Bedroom Adventure Gear has entered into a strategic partnership with Galardi South Enterprises, which operates gentlemen's clubs including the Pink Pony, to produce a series of pole dance instructional videos, exotic dance wear, stripper poles and stages.

"I am pleased to have found a partner with a brand that is both coveted and respected in the adult market,” said Jack Pepper, director of marketing for the Pink Pony Showbars. “Liberator is well-known for developing the best bedroom adventure gear, and we are confident that they will help us to create, market and sell a strong line of licensed merchandise.”

The first project will involve the Liberator production studios producing an instructional pole dancing video that features performers from the Pink Pony, wearing prototype clothing from the dance wear line. This video will be released before the Exotic Dancer National Championships at the Pink Pony South in Atlanta on May 28-30.

"This video will be equal parts instruction and entertainment,” Liberator Web Editor Dawn Hill told XBIZ. "We'll have a very wide distribution through the clubs as well as our website. This will be a nice teaser for would-be pole dancers to learn the basics, before the more-advanced videos.”

The stripper poles and stages will be available in the fall, Hill said, and the costumes can be custom-made on order.

"Once it's made, we can make any order volume at any time because we do all of our own production here. As long as we have an order, we can make it at any time. It's no problem," Hill said. "As soon as someone sees the apparel and has an interest in it, we can certainly make it to order."

Liberator Sex Furniture and Bedroom Adventure Gear products include the original Liberator shapes and furniture, sophisticated lingerie, pleasure objects, as well as bath and body, bedding and home decor.
