Venus Organizers Prepping for Oct. Show

BERLIN — Organizers are finalizing plans for the 13th Venus Show, set for Oct. 15-18 in Berlin. Exhibitors and professional visitors from 60 countries will network and cultivate their business contacts as fans take in the sights.

Trade fair manager Peter Bubel is encouraging exhibitors to invite their customers to increase the networking opportunities.

"After all, if every exhibitor were to invite his customers to Venus, then everybody would ultimately profit," Bubel said. "Of course it has been known to happen that a customer ends up buying from the competition. But it obviously also works the other way round, and that way it’ll be you who acquires a new customer."

The Venus show takes up eight exhibition halls, with an exhibition area of more than 300,000 square feet. The traditional Exhibition, Trade And Show areas were supplemented last year with the well-received Web, Fetish And Gay areas.

This year, there will be a separate admission area reserved exclusively for professional visitors, with a second entrance and a lounge area reserved for their use for a break or a meeting with business contacts or friends.

Last year's show drew an estimated 28,500 visitors.

Sponsors for the show include content provider and retailer Orion, content provider HotMovies, adult product manufacturer JoyDivision, JoyFactor.com and content provider Clips4Sale. For more information, visit Venus-Berlin.com.
