"Straight Edge, Vol. One" is the debut installment of a series compiling content that debuted on the official Jet Set website. Eleven cast members perform in seven duo and solo scenes.
The film explores the allure of ostensibly heterosexual men who nevertheless have sex with other men. "The men who identify as straight enthusiastically participate in gay sexual activity," the studio said. "Watching the DVD, one is hard-pressed to know — or care — which men are which. It's a non-issue."
The cast includes Jeremy Bilding, Kevin Cavalli, Chad Clovis, Rod Daily, Vince Ferelli, Mason Ross, Kash Satal and Kurt Wild.
"Cam Shooterz" was helmed by Falk Lux, and is a 2007 co-production of Spritzz and Berlin Bastards.
Twelve performers enact three duos and a threesome, followed by eight solo-interview vignettes. "For some reason, hot and hung young guys have a fascination with shooting video of everything they do," Jet Set announced. "A camcorder always seems to be handy," and in the film the models often utilize a camera in their sexcapades.
Models include Jan Amron, Nicos Andreou, Drako Brice, Aurelien Duval, Damien Esco, Jaden Idol, Bastian Winkler, Adrian Wolf and Raul Zambrano.
In early November 2008, Jet Set debuted Straight Edge, an amateur section of their website focused on heterosexual men "who may or may not be on the 'edge' of turning gay," the studio announced. Although other websites have emphasized the marketing hook of hetero male performers, Jet Set planned to "take it up a notch in production quality and star quality."
European gay adult content provider Spritzz recently moved to raise its profile in the North American market through a dedicated VOD channel on the Maleflixxx online network.
