GXBill Wins 2009 XBIZ Award

LOS ANGELES — Global Exchange Billing (GXBill), a leading alternative billing processor founded in 2002, has received the XBIZ "Alternative Billing Company of the Year" Award at the recent annual awards ceremony in Hollywood.

GXBill processes telephone and electronic bank payments for online merchants from customers wishing to purchase digital content without a credit card in more than 200 countries throughout the world.

"We really appreciate the recognition of our success by the industry with this win," said GXBill Director of Business Development Sam Anson. "This would not have been possible without the support of our merchants and partners around the world. XBIZ also put on a fantastic show in LA and we are proud to have been part of it."

According to the company, GXBill is a one-stop shop for global phone billing, utilizing browser detection tools and GEO location scripts to serve up a variety of local phone billing methods for end users throughout the world. GXBill is fully integrated with the major affiliate software programs, including NATS, MPA3, Partnersoft and Riverstyx. The company has also recently ventured into EU debit billing and bank transfer billing.

"We had been nominated several years in a row for this award, and we were extremely happy to see our number come up the other night," Anson said. "We look forward to serving our Merchants in the coming years, searching out new and innovative ways for them to bill users for their content."

"GXBill has long served some of the largest digital content distributors on the Internet, maintaining consistent and solid growth since its founding," stated a company release.

GXBill plans to release a number of e-commerce products during the coming year.
