All Boys Distribution Revamps Business Plan

SOUTH PARIS, Maine — Gay adult wholesaler All Boys Distribution has announced several key changes to its business plan for 2009. The alterations include a revamp of its client portfolio by dropping any labels that produce extreme fetish content.

All Boys has parted ways with several labels that were given a lackluster reception from retailers. "I'm done trying different types of content to see what's going to move," said company CEO Rob Ragan. "My customers are the larger chain stores throughout the country and they just won't carry the studios that shoot anything that contains fisting or watersports," he said.

Despite an emergent trend towards extreme fetish content in gay adult, Ragan said his clients have expressed a contrary opinion. "Rather than try and convince them that some of the films don't contain that stuff, I just decided that it would be in our best interests to let those studios find other distribution opportunities."

There are boutique distro companies that specialize in extreme fetish. "They do have a clientele for that type of content," Ragan said, "and I just do not."

All Boys Distribution will also seek out exclusive pacts with labels and avoid those who bounce from one company to another. "It's just too damn confusing for my customers to figure out who this studio or that studio is signed with this month," he said. "It's just a mess the way these studios are always looking for greener grass"

The company plans to release one new title per week. Next on the plate is "Bareback Cumparty 9: Juiced" from twink producers OTB Video. The street date is Thursday.

Additional gay adult titles in the pipeline include "Blacks on Daddies Vol. 4" via Older4Me, and "Outdoor" issued by BerlinStar Film.
