Former Rick’s Cabaret Dancer Faces Tax Evasion Charges

MINNEAPOLIS — A former Rick’s Cabaret exotic dancer is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly failing to report $80,000 in tips as income.

The Minnesota Department of Revenue reports that 28-year-old Stephanie Antes has been charged with five felony counts and one gross misdemeanor count for neglecting to file and pay income taxes and filing a false income tax return.

A tipster contacted the agency claiming that Antes had earned $80,000 in a single year during her time as a dancer at Rick’s Cabaret from 2004 to 2006. Further investigation revealed bank statements proving that Antes had exceeded her reported income by thousands of dollars, according to the criminal charges.

Antes faces a fine of $10,000 and up to five years and prison for each felony, as well as a fine of $3,000 and up to one year in prison for the gross misdemeanor.
