Shooting began Monday on the series, which is based around addiction to porn as a theme. According to Jaymes, however, she agreed to participate after being reassured that the producers aimed to balance the story by documenting the ins-and-outs of her everyday life.
Jaymes had been writing on her MySpace blog that she was being considered to be included on the show.
”The producer absolutely loves me and finds my lifestyle very interesting and will be presenting everything to the executives on Monday morning,” she wrote last Saturday. “I'm so excited.”
Elsewhere, Jaymes reassures fans that the MTV appearance will not have a negative spin.
“Although we're dealing with cases of ‘addiction,’ we want to push a more positive vibe on the industry,” she wrote.
The episode featuring Jaymes is scheduled to air on MTV in April.
