HOUSTON — While Max Hardcore awaits an order from the U.S. Bureau of Prisons to surrender to custody, a Houston publisher has put for sale on Amazon.com a compendium of legal documents in paperback relative to his Florida trial.

The paperback, “Adult Entertainment Producer, Paul F. Little, Sentenced to 46 Months in Prison on Obscenity Charges,” costs $49.95 and was released last week by BackgroundNow, which publishes information on federal cases based upon the popularity of blog entries made about them.

“Our Oct. 3 blog entry about Hardcore’s case has been and remains one of the most popular at our blog,” BackgroundNow President Lee Hill told XBIZ. “Why? To tell you the truth, we don't know. All we know about Hardcore is contained in the book.

“That said, it seems he has a large number of followers,” Hill said.

Hardcore and his company, Max World Entertainment Inc., were indicted by the Justice Department last year on 10 counts of federal obscenity charges relating to five movies in Tampa, Fla.

Hardcore, whose real name is Paul F. Little, was found guilty on all charges in June after a two-week trial and sentenced to 46 months in prison. He has since filed an appeal to the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

As result of the convictions, the official Max Hardcore domain was forfeited in October. Little has since created another current official website — MaxHardcoreTV.com.
