Sureflix Raises Curtain on Colt Cinema

TORONTO — Sureflix Digital Distribution has debuted Colt Cinema, a branded pay-per-view website exclusively featuring the catalog of venerable gay production company Colt Studio Group.

“I have to admit that after 20 years in the business and working with so many in this ever-evolving industry, the folks at Sureflix have surpassed all my expectations as a valued business partner,” Colt President John Rutherford said.

He added, “Whether it is in online delivery of our content, or giving us the representation we need as producers toward future technology, they always get the job done.”

Sureflix will utilize Rutherford’s official blog as a promotional tool to drive traffic to the PPV theater.

“Colt fans are extremely loyal and long-lasting connoisseurs of all-male erotica, and many of them stay up to date via Rutherford’s blog,” the company said.

“The team at Colt know how to produce top of the line content and understand the importance of solid online delivery,” Sureflix President Eric Johnson said.

Their “synergy” is a rare occurrence between companies. “It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, the results are unparalleled,” Johnson added.

In related news, Sureflix has recently debuted SplashShots.com, a per-per-minute VOD website intended as an extension of its PPV Maleflixxx.tv flagship brand.

Sureflix recently earned an XBIZ Awards nomination as VOD Company of the Year, and Colt was cited as GLBT Studio of the Year.

Colt is currently promoting “Inside Out” featuring Tom Chase, Luke Garrett and Eric Valentin, and “Rip Colt’s Sex Rated Home Movies 3,” a collection of vintage loops and other scenes shot by legendary studio founder Rip Colt.
