Eldorado Collects 4,100 Lbs. of Food for Charity

BROOMFIELD, Colo. — Eldorado Trading Company’s 2008 campaign to collect food for the food bank for Boulder and Broomfield counties has achieved collecting 4,100-pounds of food for some of the 40,000 residents of the counties that live in poverty.

In one month, Eldorado collected 4,100-pounds of food for the counties’ Community Food Share program.

“Everybody here at Eldorado was excited to participate and we were happy to be able to collect so much food,” Eldorado owner and CEO Larry Garland said. “Helping each other out when times are tough is what being part of a community is all about.”

Eldorado is located in Broomfield and was founded in 1974 as a distributor of novelties.
