Jim Henley to Host XBiz Awards

LOS ANGELES — Recent Hustler hire and adult industry veteran Jim Henley will host the Fourth Annual XBiz Awards show this year, the adult news and information portal announced today. The event, which recognizes stellar companies throughout the adult industry, will take place on Nov. 17 at the famous Key Club on the Sunset Strip.

Representative at XBiz said Henley, who hosted the event last year, is back by popular demand.

“He's a showman, he's a master of ceremonies, and we can all be sure that he's the one to rock the house and have all of us on the edge of our seats,” said Bonnie Moss, event coordinator for the XBiz Awards.

Henley, who recently joined Hustler as a director of post-production, said he is equally excited about his return to the XBiz Awards.

“I am both flattered and proud to have been asked to return as emcee for this year’s event,” he said.

Coinciding with Webmaster Access West, which runs Nov. 16-18 in Los Angeles, Henley said the XBiz Awards would reach “an entirely new level” this year.

“I am looking forward to a show that promises to be like no other XBiz Awards to date,” he said.

Alec Helmy, president of XBiz, said the company is going all out this year, most notably with its venue choice. Helmy described the Key Club as the ideal backdrop for this year’s ceremony, offering a multi-level complex, advanced audio, video and lighting technologies and some of the best food around.

“The red carpet will be rolled out to welcome the industry’s finest,” said Helmy. “And when you combine our great venue with our dynamic host, we have all the ingredients required for a night to remember.”

Nominations for the awards can be made online at xbizawards.com. The deadline for submissions is 12:00 A.M (PST) Sept. 30. Interested sponsors should contact sales@xbiz.com.
