Classic TV Spoofing Continues With 'The Dirty Facts of Life'

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The adult industry's current affection with classic TV spoofs continues with a new entry: "The Dirty Facts of Life."

But this new release isn't coming from either Hustler or X-Play, which have combined to deliver "Not The Bradys XXX," "Not Bewitched XXX" and "This Ain't the Munsters XXX" over the last year. No, "The Dirty Facts of Life" comes from Abigail Productions. Distribution will be handled by Girlfriends Distribution.

The original TV series ran from 1979 to 1988 on NBC and was nominated for three primetime Emmy Awards. It followed a group of students at an all-female boarding school.

Lee Roy Myers wrote the script for the new adult incarnation, which also follows a group of young women at an all-female school. The students begin to suspect that their heretofore lesbian house mother has become straight after an encounter she has with a plumber. Shenanigans ensue from there as the students conspire to seduce her.

Industry veteran Oren Cohen directs. Cohen was recently featured in a profile in the Village Voice written by Tristan Taormino. The article goes into detail of Cohen's history with the adult business.

"Imagine growing up in a clan where the family business is porn," the article reads. "Oren Cohen came of age in the 1970s, at the end of what is often called 'The Golden Age of Porn' — when adult movies were shot on film and played to the mainstream in big-screen theaters."

The cast for "The Dirty Facts of Life" includes Racquel Devine, Jordan Kingsley, Jada Fire, Annabelle Lee, Lindsey Meadows and Lexi Bardot.
