Pachard Film Screens in L.A. on Saturday

LOS ANGELES — Longtime repertory cinema the New Beverly Cinema will be paying tribute to director Henri Pachard by screening his 1984 film "Pussycat Galore" at midnight on Saturday night. Pachard died in late September.

"Pussycat Galore" stars Brooke Fields, Danielle, Honey Wilder, Rene Summers, Annette Heinz, Chelsea Blake, Carol Cross, Cassandra Leigh, Joey Silvera, Jerry Butler, Paul Thomas, George Payne, Bobby Astyr, Klaus Multia and David Scott. It will be playing on a double bill with "Eruption," starring John C. Holmes and Leslie Bovee.

The screening is part of the ongoing Grindhouse Film Festival at the New Beverly, featuring exploitation films from the '70s and '80s that were featured in third-run "grindhouse" theaters. For more information about the Grindhouse Film Festival, visit the Grindhouse MySpace page.
