'James Gunn's PG Porn' Draws Mainstream Coverage for Giovanni, Grey

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Adult stars Aria Giovanni and Sasha Grey are garnering mainstream attention in a new online series that made its debut today.

The series is called "James Gunn's PG Porn," and as previously reported by XBIZ, the series stars the adult stars alongside such Hollywood mainstays as Nathan Fillion ("Firefly") and Michael Rosenbaum ("Smallville"). The simple premise shows typical set-ups for adult scenes that go off the rails before anyone takes their clothes off.

Over at the leading movie news and rumor emporium Ain't It Cool News, Gunn spoke about the new series and what it was like to work with the adult stars.

"It really is part of the fun," Gunn said. "All of us are in the entertainment industry, but the gap between what we do and what they do is so huge – both in terms of how it's perceived by the audience and in terms of what they actually need to go through to bring something to the screen. I, for instance, don't need to wake up at 5:30 in the morning to give myself an enema because I have an anal scene that day. My enemas are just for the pure enjoyment of it. And they're in the afternoon."

Gunn said that he cast the adult stars before the mainstream stars. He's worked with Jenna Haze in the past, and he praised the adult stars for their professional work.

"The adult stars were in some ways more fun because they were all having such a great time – acting of this sort was a completely different experience for them," he said.

The premiere episode of "James Gunn's PG Porn" stars Nathan Fillion and Aria Giovanni. It's available at Spike.com.
