On the light-hearted song, aptly titled “Lacey Duvalle,” Hamilton daydreams about meeting Lacey and also name-drops adult website Bang Bros. Network and adult star Mr. Marcus. The song was leaked to popular hip-hop blog NahRight.com, where it can be heard in its entirety.
Hamilton, a 20-year-old Harlem native, was signed to Interscope by label honcho Jimmy Iovine, who was impressed with his irreverent, gimmick-free style.
“I fell in love with Miss Lacey, she was hanging out with the Bang Bros. boys; Im in love with Miss Lacey, the way she screams, it’s such beautiful noise,” Hamilton half-raps, half-sings on the chorus. “I kinda wish I knew Lacey, maybe I can get to know who she is; but she’ll always be Lacey, a superstar in the oldest biz.”
