Proposed bill to tax churches in the fight against child porn

The absurd headline above came to my mind as I was reading the xbiz article titled: U.S. Rep. Barton Pushes Internet "Child Protection" Bill. I thought the article was about another attempt at regulating porn, but it’s a proposed bill to increase funding to law enforcement in their laudable fight against CP.

There was no mentiond in the article that was trying to link adult entertainment (porn) with child porn. Usually this connection is made with extreme fervor and disgust.

The article was outlining how bad it was out on the internet for the exploitation of children. I decided to check on the pulse of things by going to news.google.com and entering “child porn church”. I was not surprised by the amount of recent news stories about child porn that involved church staff (like priests and pastors), but it was still saddening to see.

The point of this absurd post is that whenever anyone tries to ignorantly link adult entertainment (porn) with child porn, tell them first of all, CP is horrible and secondly, its not the adult internet websites that are creating and distributing the bad material, its actually involving people who are entrusted to take care of kids, whereas porn is out to take care of adults.

Fight the hypocrisy!

Turning Fantasy Fans Into New Creature Play Shoppers

Adult “creature play” is no longer just a niche novelty. There’s even a term for this kink: teratophilia, meaning sexual attraction to monsters. A heady mix of sensory novelty, curiosity about unfamiliar bodies and potential power dynamics has made lusting after and role-playing mythological creatures more widely accepted. The erotically captivating allure of otherworldly beings has even become prevalent across pop culture, from “True Blood” and “The Shape of Water” to Guillermo Del Toro’s “Frankenstein” and “monster boyfriend” romantasy literature trending on TikTok.
