" The key to succeeding in any business is to successfully be able to sell your self. "

How careful are you about what you tell your surfers when they enter your site? How far do you go to make a sale? I know it's tough to compete with the 'Big Boys' of this Industry, and that saying just the right thing might do the 'trick' — but is it worth it, and are you able to deliver the treat?

"About Me"
On my first Amateur site I created an "About Me" page as part of the tour, like quite a few other amateur sites do. You know the page; it's the one where what you say about yourself and your site might make that extra difference in getting the sale. I blush now, thinking back about some of the things I said on that page, things that I would have never even thought of in my wildest dreams! After seeing first hand how many sales my girlfriend was making on her amateur site by saying such outrageously naughty things, such as "I love to go to party's and get gang banged by all the guys... I like to be fist fucked in both holes at the same time with everyone watching... Cum join my site and party with me now!" (And that was just a small portion of the enticing little 'tricks' she'd use to get the job done) it was easy to see why my site was lacking the sales that it could have made: I wasn't saying the right things to push them to join! And so "I" (like so many other amateurs) used the same strategy, enticing men to sign up by the dozens — assuming that they'd actually get the chance to really party with me some day — "I mean, whatever it takes, right?"

Selling Yourself
The key to succeeding in any business is to successfully be able to sell your self. What I mean by this is if you can get the customer to believe in you and what you're trying to sell them, then you've just sold your self, or to be clear, you've just sold them based upon your words. Here comes the 'tricky' part: "were your words fact or fiction?" Why does this really matter, you might ask; it doesn't matter, unless you get caught. Of course, that game is like playing Russian roulette, you might never get caught, but if you do (and the chances are that you probably will), in the end, the game that you're playing might prove to be dangerous and even costly, as the legalities of such behavior are bound to catch up with you sooner or later.

False Advertisement
~ Dictionary.com, Definition of False:
1: not in accordance with the fact or reality or actuality
2: arising from error; "a false assumption"; "a mistaken view of the situation"
3: erroneous and usually accidental
4: deliberately deceptive; "hollow (or false) promises"; "false pretenses"
5: inappropriate to reality or facts; "delusive expectations"; "false hopes"
6: not genuine or real; being an imitation of the genuine article
7: designed to deceive
8: inaccurate in pitch
9: adopted in order to deceive; "an assumed name"; "a fictitious address"; "fictive sympathy"; "a pretended interest"; "sham modesty"
10: (used especially of persons) not dependable in devotion or affection; unfaithful in a disloyal and faithless manner.

So what's the harm in a little false advertisement? Well, besides creating distrust and anger in your customers, just think of all those hungry attorneys out there, waiting for the chance to devour you in court for 'tricking' your customers into purchasing your goods or services. It's like going to the store to buy a box of cereal, only to find out after opening it that there's nothing inside. What you say and can deliver could be the difference between a safe, comfortable life or being hunted, harassed and maybe even jailed for fraud. Remember, "the truth shall set you free:"

The 'Trick' is in How Long They Stay
What you should really be focusing your time and energy on is the retention of your business, because customers who get what they pay for, trust your company and feel safe enough to continue, therefore becoming your repeated traffic and income. Their experience is a true and honest 'treat' and more then likely; they'll tell others of their experience, just like warning others if their experience was a 'trick.' It's always better to be honest then to deceive, because all the way around, your business and you have a much better chance of surviving and even succeeding.

Be safe and have a "Happy Halloween"
