What is your role and responsibility at LFP?

Currently I am the Director of Business Developments for the Broadcast and Internet division of LFP, or as we have named it Hustler TV.

Currently I am the Director of Business Developments for the Broadcast and Internet division of LFP, or as we have named it Hustler TV. After nearly 9 years of running the retail empire, I have decided to focus my attention on where I think the future of the company and industry will be firmly planted, and that is with broadcast and internet.

Give us a typical Monday at your desk?

As you can imagine I see many proposals. We are fortunate to have elevated LFP into being one of the marquee companies in the international adult market with brands such as Hustler, Barely Legal, Asian Fever and more. I have many companies that would like to have material run on our Broadcast and hospitality channel Hustler TV. I look at as many opportunities and then filter through the ones I feel are consistent with the direction and pulse of the company's future plans and strategies.

What do you think is your greatest challenge or asset being a woman in the adult industry?

I think many challenges exist for women in adult, in particular the stigma that women should be in front of the camera. I believe it takes a strong woman to pierce through that stigma and let people know that you have a very deeply rooted understanding of the industry and that you are capable of making as much of a bottom line profit as any male. I know my father has taught me that this is a business about making money first and foremost, you either know how to make it or you don't.

What strategies do you use to maintain balance in your life?

I think it is critical to live one day at a time but be very conscious of the fact that plans do need to be made and followed. It is important to really know who you are and like that person that you are. I also feel that kindness is a great way to balance yourself and is the ultimate equalizer. How can you mad at someone who is kind to you, how can you dislike someone who is kind to you, and how can you turn down a deal from someone who is kind (Laughs).

What advice would you give other women who want to enter your field?

Make sure it is something you want to do. This field like another requires a certain amount of passion. I never expected to be in the position I am in but with what my father and other members of our family have been able to contribute over the years I feel I have this sibling named Hustler and I will always want to see that sibling be number one. For other woman who enter the field, I guess as said in the beginning have a passion for it, be sure it something you really want to do. You have to wake up everyday and love what you do! In any business align yourself with credible people, companies, profitable ideas and pursue it with your heart and soul.
