Women like Rhonda, NSCash's web developer.

How did you get into this? What in your background prepared you for what you're doing now?

I actually started doing costume and wardrobe for adult movies 12 plus years ago. I was working for September when she was a major costume designer. In 1997 I worked for Babenet before they went debunked and later transitioned to Net Video Girls in my first job doing actual web related work. It was there that I was introduced to Sean Holland (Vice President of Internet Marketing for NSCash) and a couple of years later found myself making what would be the most pivotal move of my career; taking a job with NSCash. I refer to it as the most pivotal move of my career because it is here at NSCash that I have learned most of my skills. Sean has taught me many things but most importantly, I have learned how to help run a successful program.

NSCash has been my opportunity to become what I termed a "jerk of all trades." I do everything from affiliate relations, to customer service, to support for our New Sensations/Digital Sin sales staff. It really has been such a privilege to be a part of a company that sustains its position as a leader, especially in economic times like these.

What changes have affected your work since you began it?

Being in the industry for over 14 years now has given me a unique perspective. I have seen the industry go from video being king to now the Internet taking things in a direction we in adult have never seen before. My years of experience have taught me to stay on top of what's current, keep myself informed and educated about the trends, and always keep your eyes open for the next big thing.

What do you see as the challenges to working in adult and how do you overcome them?

The biggest challenge I face daily in online adult is the policing of tube sites and torrents that are distributing our content illegally. Our age of technology and the Internet has become one of the greatest assets and one of the biggest downfalls of our industry. It helps us to promote our product while simultaneously aiding "thieves" in distributing our product illegally and free of charge. It literally hurts my heart to see the amount of illegal adult material distributed. We police these sites and have this content removed constantly but for every one that is removed there are 25 new ones that will pop up. Although there may not be a solution at this very moment to end the pirating, I do believe that the industry will ultimately trend to a place where we co-exist with the tube sites while continuing to increase our profitability.

Does your work affect your personal life?

I tend to keep my work and personal life extremely separate as a way of keeping myself balanced. The majority of my friends are not in the industry so my personal time is often spent with them.

Do you have a personal motto or slogan that you follow?

That which does not kill you only makes you stronger! I say that because I have a lot of adversities against me. I can hold my own and I have held my own for many years; to the point where I have become known for it. This is a sink or swim world and I'm not sinking! Basically I'm a bad ass and I wear really big boots so don't mess with me! LOL
