Major Production Companies Launch 'Adult Studio Alliance' Trade Organization

LOS ANGELES — The Adult Studio Alliance (ASA), an association comprising some of the biggest production companies in the industry, has officially launched.

According to a rep, ASA was founded by Aylo, Dorcel, ERIKALUST, Gamma Entertainment, Mile High Media, and Ricky’s Room with the primary goal of publishing and adhering to a comprehensive code of conduct, which provides a structured framework for directors, producers, and talent to ensure the safest possible sets and consistent industry best practices.

“By sharing and upholding these guidelines, the ASA seeks to further the ongoing advancement of the adult industry as well as its ability to self-regulate,” said the rep. “The ASA encourages all studios, members or not, to adopt and adhere to these guidelines to foster a safer, more respectful, and more professional adult industry.”

The ASA’s key guidelines include full transparency for talent prior to booking, boundary checklists, availability of an intimacy coordinator, strict health and safety protocols — including 14-day STI panel testing in accordance with PASS standards — prohibition of drugs and alcohol on set, crew and agency accountability, and a clear complaint and resolution process.

“Our continuing mission is to unite performers, creators, and professionals in adult industry studios under shared standards that protect everyone on set,” said Aylo VP of Brand and Community Alex Kekesi. “When we protect performers' rights, we foster an empowering work environment and destigmatize porn, ultimately benefiting both our industry and society as we create safer content. We are proud to be members of the ASA and look forward to continuing our meaningful work together.”

Added Casey Calvert, “I’m thrilled about the launch of the Adult Studio Alliance. As an Adult Time ambassador, I’m proud to support Gamma Films’ involvement and everything the Alliance stands for. Bringing together the industry’s biggest, most influential studios is how real change can happen. It’s been many years in the making, and we as an industry need this now more than ever.”
