MojoHost Offers Promise of Stability as Internet Usage Surges

LOS ANGELES — MojoHost is reaching out to clients and prospects with a message of hosting stability as internet usage surges during the current pandemic.

“Most of us are under curfew, lockdown, quarantine or shelter-in-place orders in many places around the world,” said a company rep. “In these difficult times, it is more than vital to have a solid infrastructure solution [and] we’d like to assure you that your digital assets are safe and taken care of here at MojoHost.”

As soon as the COVID-19 situation developed, management proposed that most of its staff begin working remotely.

“Our systems administrators are still available in their regular shifts. The only difference is their actual physical location,” the rep explained. “We expect to maintain our current Service Level Agreements and continue providing the lightning-fast response times that set us apart from many other hosting companies.”

According to the company, while its data center technicians are attending servers, many non-critical maintenance projects were put on hold to minimize their physical presence and interactions. Most importantly, however, is that "client websites are safe and taken care of, even though new orders or upgrades may take longer than usual."

Echoing the results reported by many site owners, MojoHost is seeing a 15 percent bandwidth increase by its customers, and in response is offering special rates on CDNs to help mitigate the general slowness from the internet’s overload.

“The people at MojoHost hope that you and your loved ones are well and safe. Let’s employ patience and strength, flexibility and ingenuity as building blocks for our daily life,” the rep concluded. “We are confident that the current crisis will pass and we’ll remain more experienced, versatile and knowledgeable… and continue laughing at all the great memes that the situation produced.”
